莫干山下的庾村蚕种场始建于民国时期，近百年来陆续建造的十几幢房子随着地形散布后留出许多空地，我们用当地盛产的竹子在场地上搭出竹棚，结合地形关系整理场地，并按照蚕场建筑的特征用空间的方式加以改造，以期在这里形成新的场所体验。

the silkwarm hatchery in moganshan mountain started from early 1900s. a series of vacant open space was formed during the continual construction in the past century. our design re-organizes the open space and topography, and create a canopy with bamboo, a common local material. the place is redesigned to feature the spirit of the hatchery, and will accommodate new spatial experience.
