the site unfolds along the river and is originally an area filled with rows of factories. since manufacturing ceased there, it has been used as an open market for agricultural produce. we were asked to transform the place into a night fair. to meet the commercial area requirement, we first increased the height of the original factories and made two stories out of them. then we added lightweight archways to create semi-outdoor spaces. also we used the large space in front of the factories as a public plaza, and turned the firm ground into strolling paths with scenery. in the end, the whole area takes on a more open and vivid look.
