on a small hill, the house accommodates a cafe with multiple functions on the ground level, surrounded by an orchard. by route of its lower roof, one ascends to the second floor, where the view opens up and rises above the trees to look into the distance. we intentionally put these two contrasting atmospheres into two separate levels, hoping that when people stay in one, they forget about the other.
